All E-books are planned as lesson blocks and are designed to be used in an all-day "week-long-camp" situation, for a weekend school, an after-school enrichment program or as a 6-week lesson block. Lessons are included for ages 3-13 (some 14 & 15 year olds have even enjoyed these), and include beginner projects and more advanced projects. All E-books are very dense and include one page of index and one page of introduction. The rest of the pages are all stories, lessons and verses. There are no blank pages to fill space, double-spacing on the words or over-use of pictures. A lesson planning guide with ideas on how to plan for the different ages or how to plan the day around the lessons is included with each e-book.
I provide support for all of the books. Once you purchase one - if you need an extra verse or you have a question or your child really likes something but there is only one lesson on that topic please write to me. I have condensed these plans from hundreds of lessons I have given so I might have something in my files I can send you. I don't gaurantee I will always have an extra lesson on hand, but I do guarantee I will try to do my best to help. And I always welcome feedback as well! I am always upgrading, improving and updating these books so if you have any ideas or requests please tell me.
Woodworking for Kids
All these projects are easy and use only the most basic of measuring, hand-drilling, sawing and/or hammering skills. This lesson block talks about basic skills, safety, and includes ten projects like a flower press, paper-making frame, tic-tac-toe board, pencil holder, picture holder and more. Stories and verses about woodworking, trees and the earth are included. This E-book is 67-pages long and includes pictures.
Waldorf Watercolor Painting
Painting projects are included for one-color, two-colors, three-colors and many-colors. Painting techniques are covered and watercolor verses and stories are included for each age. Lessons are designed to be taught by technique or by theme and stories and verses are included to support these themes. Recipes for homemade paint are included. This E-book is 44-pages long.
Storytelling and Theater for Kids
This lesson block includes verses, stories and warm –up games for theater and story-telling. Topics that are discussed are: How to be a storyteller, skits, fables, plays, theater games, fairytales, how to listen to stories, tall tales, funny stories, and more. This is always everyone's favorite lesson block – at home and in my enrichment classes. This E-book is 76-pages long.
Knitting and Weaving for Kids
This lesson block includes instructions on how to knit and how to TEACH knitting to children. This also included basic instructions for weaving AND verses and instructions for finger-knitting AND French spool knitting. There are instructions and verses for casting-on, knit-stitch, pearl-stitch, casting-off, reducing, increasing and finishing a knitting project. Absolute beginner (a butterfly) projects to more advanced (a hat) are included in these plans. Some of the projects include: butterfly, bunny, purse, pencil-case and more. Cooking with Kids
This book is 45-packed-pages of verse, stories, easy-to-follow recipes and more. This lesson block includes chapters called: "Soup and a Story", "Soups through the Year", "A Year of Breads", "Snacks Through the Year" , "I Didn't Know You Could Make That" and "Food as a Gift". Some recipes include meat products, wheat, milk and eggs. However, the recipes can be adapted and the general outline is very useful for any one. If you need help in adapting a recipe to your vegetarian family or a child with allergies please write to me. I can adapt any of the recipes for you.
Natural Gifts Kids Can Make
This book is -packed-pages of verse, stories, easy-to-follow recipes and projects and more. This is perfect for all year round. However, it is especially helpful around a big holiday time like Christmas – you can create something for everyone on your shopping list with this book. Projects are suitable for ages 3-11.
Sixth Sense Math & Language Enrichment
