So many things have changed in the past two years that the old FAQs page is no longer useful. I am starting a new one below...
QUESTION: What is the difference between a curriculum and lesson plans? What is the best thing for me? Should I purchase the curriculum or the lesson plans or both? I am confused!
ANSWER: The base of the Earthschooling program are the curriculum E-books. These were originally monthly lesson plans.
People can choose to purchase:
Curriculum E-books - you pay per book and are given access to all the material and E-book for that grade.
Monthly Membership - This is being discontinued. It only gives you a month sample of the lessons. I was offering this for people who wanted to try out the program, but have found that it does not really represent the program very well as having only 1/12th of the information for the year is a bit confusing and makes it hard to plan. It is still available for $35.00 - a person can use this purchase price towards an upgrade if they want to join the program.
Family Membership - This used to be lessons given on a monthly basis for enrichment groups, after school and Sunday school programs, Now, it includes all the monthly lessons AND all the curriculum guides so each family has access to everything and can choose what best suits their needs. Some people actually use both. One member uses the monthly guides for her after school program and the curriculum for her family.
Lifetime Membership - This is the same as the family membership. The only difference is that you also gain access to ALL the e-books, conference videos, all the extra tutorials, the AMHC music program and any video or E-book I publish in the future (so you never pay for materials again).
Any purchase you make can be upgraded withing 30 days at the current posted price. So, if you purchased a curriculum now and wanted to upgrade in 15 days you would need to check the website for the current prices at that time, subtract the amount you already paid from that price and make an upgrade payment or write to me and ask me to invoice you or create an upgrade button for you.
